We build apps we want to exist.
Hot Forge is an app studio. We design and build apps — most of them starting as something we needed ourselves.
There is no account team and no deck factory here. A small group of people who design, write code and ship, working out of Paris, France and wherever good coffee is served.
Ideas enter the forge. Apps come out.
How we work
Curiosity
We start with questions, not roadmaps. The interesting work usually lives one layer past the obvious idea.
Craft
Details are the app. Typography, motion, latency, copy — all of it is design work.
Focus
We prototype early and often. A rough build tells the truth faster than any document.
Shipping
An app becomes real when people use it. We would rather release something small than plan something large.
Simplicity
We remove until only the useful part remains, then make that part feel excellent.
